City Hall
Our community is a thriving, bustling centre and at its core is City Hall. With a 110-year history, Dauphin was incorporated as a village in 1898 and a century later, as a city in 1998. Through those years, the community has had many dedicated civil servants to help make life in Dauphin everything you deserve.
From bylaws to economic development and public utilities to safety, the men and women at City Hall serve their community to the best of their abilities. That dedication has resulted in a community to grow and prosper in. With beautiful, tree-lined streets, quick snow removal, clean, safe water and a growing economy, Dauphin is a shining example of a committed civil service.
Dauphin is home to one of Canada’s most celebrated heroes of World War One, Lieutenant-Colonel W. (Billy) G. Barker V. C., and is shaped by its history and the hard work of many cultures.
