Project Overview
The City of Dauphin is exploring opportunities to enhance a City-owned property located at the south entrance to Dauphin, bordered by Main Street South, Whitmore Avenue West, and Jackson Street.
This triangular property is home to several familiar landmarks, including Amisk the Beaver, the City's welcome sign, and three flagpoles. As one of the primary gateways into Dauphin, this site provides an important first impression for many visitors arriving from the south.
The City is looking to develop a long-term vision for the property that enhances its appearance and creates a welcoming destination where residents and visitors can stop, explore, and enjoy.
The goal is to create a distinctive public space that reflects Dauphin's character, celebrates our community, and supports tourism and recreation.
Community input will help shape the concept design for this space, and we want to hear from you!
